Over the course of several years PlayFirst contracted XEODesign to run over 40 player studies to build out their Diner Dash franchise as well as new experiences. The result: Diner Dash is now one of the top-selling downloadable games of all time with over a billion downloads and launched a whole category of time management casual games. We create a Vision Document which defines the game concept and the Player Experience.
Step two is where we design the game and build on the research done in Step one.
Next we flesh out the details of the game design by identifying them so that they are ready for production.
